I've been member of the Academic Choir of the universities in Zürich (Akademischer Chor Zürich, ACZ) since 1995. We give one or two concerts a year, most often with a student orchestra from another European city. In spring 2000 the orchestra was the Danubia Youth Symphony Orchestra from Budapest, Hungary. Under the leadership of Lukas C. Reinitzer and together with the Singschulchor der Jugendmusikschule St.Gallen we gave three concerts of the programm "Le Laudi" (composed by the Swiss composer Hermann Suter), the first of them in the Wilhelms-Church in Budapest. The solists were Maria Gessler (Sopran), Yvonne Naef (Alt), Roger Widmer (Tenor) and Cheyne Davidson (Bass). The other two concerts were in the Tonhalle St.Gallen and the Tonhalle Zürich, both in Switzerland.
